All you have to do is phone us, and we will call to see you in your home at a time that is convenient to you and your family. If someone passes away in hospital, a nursing home or at home, call us and we will make the appropriate arrangements.
While Turner & Wilson is a small organisation our connections allow us handle large and small events as needed.
The National Association of Funeral Directors demands high professional standards, and to be accepted as members Turner & Wilson has been assessed against stringent criteria. We are then required to abide by a strict code of practice, and are monitored regularly to ensure a high quality of service.
On the very rare occasions when something is not quite right the Association will investigate complaints, and the Funeral Arbitration Scheme has been established to help resolve disputes.
With many years of experience in helping bereaved families we'll help you in any way we can after the death of a loved one.
Direct cremation provides a contemporary alternative that is both low cost and free of the trauma of a traditional, processional funeral. There is no need for anyone to attend although sometimes a small group of close family may wish to be present at the crematorium.
We make all the arrangements for the collection and care of the deceased, provide transport to the crematorium and either scatter the ashes in a garden of remembrance or return them to you afterwards.
Treatment with dignity but no fuss.
Direct, unattended burial is also possible though less common.
